On February 23, the Law of Ukraine "On Lobbying" was adopted. While its adoption was one of the key requirements for the opening of negotiations on Ukraine's membership in the EU, at the stage of its development and consideration by the Parliament, the draft law became the subject of wide public debate regarding the concept of regulation and possible abuses of such regulation by state bodies. The focus of the webinar was on the main provisions of the adopted Law: which activities fall under the scope of regulation, who will be obliged to submit information to the Transparency Register and in what is the scope of such information, responsibility for violations of the provisions of the Law and expected timeframes for the practical implementation of the adopted regulation.
