Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, we have understood that for the team to remain stable and able to work, the company must provide assistance in two aspects, which are equally important: psychological-moral state and technical-material provision.
When news of a possible full-scale invasion appeared in January- February, the company prepared business and office for this scenario. Instructions were ready for the team, and medicines, water, and food were stored. At the beginning of the invasion, we solved all the requests we received from our people, helped relocate families, and provided financial support.
And from April 2022, within a few months, almost the entire team returned to the office. The ability to work at the own workplace, communicate with colleagues, exchange information, and help each other - all these small things that are so common in peacetime, turned out to be quite essential and supportive in the time of war. And for our clients as well - offline meetings have become extremely valuable. The feeling that everyone is nearby, united, and keeps in touch has become a guarantee of an unshakable moral spirit and a sense that life goes on.
To maintain a positive psychological state of the team in crisis, the company's goal is to give people a sense of control over the situation and their lives. It relieves stress and anxiety and allows one to concentrate on work tasks. The tool for this is constant communication.
We kept sending our usual internal messages, feedback requests, and birthday wishes and organized small corporate parties. LCF managers constantly communicate with their teams. They talk about where and how the company is moving and the current status.
Personal communication is the most valuable because it provides an opportunity to work out the needs and fears of a single person. The result helps with both work and personal issues. But much more often, the dialogue itself is valuable for the employee, has a particular therapeutic effect, allows one to feel the own value, and gives a sense of stability.
As for the technical preparation and organization of office work, we solved the problems step by step. Analyzed the situation and needs of the team, how the work process goes, and what people need afterward. It is essential to understand where the gaps or inconveniences appear and to decide how to solve them.
The company provided the team with everything necessary for uninterrupted work, holding online and offline meetings: desktop USB lamps, power banks, laptops, and StarLink connection. And for having a rest during the free time - a comfortable kitchen and supplies of delicious coffee, table football, and air hockey. Our company purchased timer sockets for employees to help organize a comfortable home life and minimize electricity consumption.
When "Points of Invincibility" became operational due to shelling and emergency power outages, we realized that our office should become such a point. Therefore, on-demand, the office works on weekends.
We believe that together we will defeat the enemy, that Victory is near. We work as a team, for our clients, for the glory of our Ukraine!
