Currently, the main priority for Intellias is to ensure the safety of its specialists and provide unimpeded delivery to its clients. We believe that through teamwork and mutual support we will help the company overcome every challenge of the upcoming winter and smoothly implement its Business Continuity Plan, which has been successfully applied multiple times since February 24.
All Intellias offices in Ukraine are equipped with generators, backup Starlink connection, and alternative Internet providers. We completed our preparations well in advance of the beginning of mass attacks on critical infrastructure. Our specialists now have stable and uninterrupted access to electricity and the Internet. We have increased the number of available desks in the office and rented additional tables in the co-working space. Offices can also become a temporary shelter for colleagues in case of emergency, for instance, if they are without heating in their homes.
We also want our specialists to be independent. The company assists them with the purchase of Starlink stations and generators or will reimburse them if they have already purchased them. Intellias pays great attention to the autonomy of specialists. If our colleagues decide to move to other cities with a more stable electricity supply, the company will compensate them a proportion of the relocation expenses. If specialists can’t work from home or from the office for any reason, the company compensates the cost of working in co-working spaces of their choice.
Besides electricity access, we pay attention to the comfort and safety of our teams. The Lviv office is equipped with a bomb shelter, which has electricity, wi-fi access, and heating. Our specialists can work from there during air raid alarms. In other cities, shelters are available within walking distance and we make sure of informing our colleagues about the nearest shelters. We have also re-opened the children's rooms in the Intellias offices. Now our colleagues can work comfortably knowing that their kids are nearby and looked after.
The company's specialists find out about all changes and updates as fast as possible thanks to the efficient work of the internal communications department. We send out regular digests with up-to-date information, hold meetings with top managers, and share useful tips on how to set up autonomous heating or Starlink stations at home. Additionally, we have an Intellias Offices Status bot, which informs our colleagues about the number of available desks at every Intellias location in Ukraine.
We greatly appreciate the support that we feel from our clients and partners. Our clients increase the number of projects they are willing to do with us, assist with the evacuation of our team members, and provide our colleagues with accommodation and additional bonuses in case they are forced to leave their homes.
In just two weeks after the full-scale invasion, Intellias managed to restore 99% of its operational capacity and has not stopped working since. It proves once again that the Ukrainian IT sector always fulfills its obligations no matter how challenging the circumstances are.
