On September 22, 2026, the National Equal Opportunities Leadership Award 2026 ceremony, initiated by the international community Women Leaders for Ukraine, will take place at the National Philharmonic of Ukraine in Kyiv.
This year, the event is being held for the second time and will bring together more than 500 guests, including leaders of Ukrainian businesses, international organizations, government institutions, diplomats, media representatives, opinion leaders, and members of the HR and DEI communities.
This is the first award in Ukraine to recognize leading employers — companies, government institutions, educational institutions, civil society organizations, and military units — that systematically implement policies promoting equal opportunities, inclusion, and women’s leadership.
This year, 300 organizations applied for the Award, with 25 winners to be recognized.
In addition to the awards ceremony, the program will include:
- Panel discussion: “A Vision for Equal Opportunities Leadership in Ukraine”
- Panel discussion: “Business as a Driver of Equal Opportunities”
- Panel discussion: “Communities as Spaces for Equal Opportunities”
- Public dialogue on gender equality in the military
- Public interviews with women and men leaders and opinion makers
- Presentation of awards across 10 categories and the Main Award 2026
- Networking and opportunities to build new partnerships
