On Wednesday, June 16, the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine in conjunction with the World Economic Forum's Community of Global Growth Companies was pleased to hold the Round Table "Competitiveness and Trends-What the Future Holds for Business in Post-Election Ukraine".

On Tuesday, June 15th the Chamber together with the Deputy Head of Ukraine's Presidential Administration Iryna Akimova conducted a joint press conference “Partnership for Successfully Competing in the Global Economy and State Program for Economic Reform 2010 – 2014 – Many Synergy between both Reform Plans”.

The Chamber was pleased to hold another in a series of Chamber In-Focus Meeting "Ukraine – On the Road to Stability and Reforms" that took place this time around with Ms. Tetiyana Iefymenko, Deputy Minister of Finance of Ukraine.

On Thursday, July 15^th the American Chamber of Commerce (Chamber) in conjunction with the European Business Association hosted a meeting with Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and the diplomatic and investment community operating in Ukraine entitled "Ukraine on the Road to Stability and Reforms".

Continuing to proactively respond to our Member's requests within the current dynamic, often confusing and always fluid political environment as well as providing the Chamber Members with targeted value added benefits the Chamber Policy Team was pleased to hold the next in a series of Chamber "Insiders View" Meetings entitled "Ukraine - on the Road to Stability and Reforms?" which gathered respected and influential Ukrainian experts.

The Chamber held a special “Insiders View” Meeting entitled “Where to Invest in Ukraine.” This time the guest speakers were from leading banks, consultancies and investment funds who provided their insight on prospects of different investment tools.

The Chamber is hosting the next Chamber Knowledge Seminar to be delivered by the fellow Chamber Member Noerr on the topic of "Product Liability Issues in Ukraine: Legal Regulation, Problem Aspects, and Practical Recommendations."

The Chamber is pleased to host U.S. Ambassador John F. Tefft, who has agreed to highlight the ongoing development of the bi-lateral relationship providing insight into current political and economic trends as well as touching on the recent high level visit of U.S. Under Secretary for Political Affairs William Burns.

The Chamber was proud to invite the Membership to participate in a special event that  launched the 2010 update of the "Partnership for Successfully Competing in the Global Economy" which was timed to coincide with the release of President Yanukovych’s Economic Reform Plan.

On June 10th, 2010 the Chamber ICT Market Leaders Breakfast took place at the Radisson BLU Hotel that provided the CEOs of Chamber Member companies with an excellent opportunity for focused networking to exchange information on the priority issues for the industry throughout 2010-2011. In the process of discussion participants defined top challenges for IT & Telecom industries in Ukraine and possible synergy areas for cooperation.
