Discussion "Public-Private Partnership: How Socially Responsible Business Can Contribute to the Changes in the Healthcare System of Ukraine"


The agenda of the meeting has been devoted to discussion of possible ways of cooperation between business and government in solving urgent problems in the healthcare sector, in particular: What help can provide the socially responsible business? What does the state need? What are the possible formats of cooperation between business and the state system to resolve medical and social issues?

Among the participants were representatives of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, business and expert community, and the media.

During the event the Ronald McDonald House Charities has been presented as global charitable foundation that has more than 40 years of systematic help to implement the principles of family-oriented medicine, namely, creating conditions for a stay of relatives near their children who are treated at the largest children's hospitals in the world. Starting its operations in Ukraine, the Foundation shares its experience of public-private partnerships.
