On June 2, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine plans to consider a number of important bills aimed at reforming the judiciary. The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine (the Chamber) has repeatedly stressed the importance of a successful judicial reform, because it is an integral part of restoring confidence in the judicial system, as well as ensuring adequate protection of the interests of foreign investors and, as a result, revenues in Ukraine of new investments and, consequently, its economic growth.
