First Meeting of the Chamber OSAC Steering Committee
17 грудня, 2009, 10:00
Chamber NEW OFFICE Conference Facility, (Horizon Park Business Center, 12, Amosova vul., 15 Floor) Порядок денний:
Information is power – now more than ever. Therefore, protecting your proprietary information is critical.
To more effectively and efficiently help you achieve this important goal, the American Chamber of Commerce has established an Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy. OSAC’s purpose is to provide a dedicated security forum for Chamber Ukraine members to exchange security “best practices” and to establish and develop a network of private industry and U.S. Government security experts to discuss and develop security-related and enhancing ideas. Your participation in OSAC is an excellent way to provide “value added benefit” to your organization and to the entire Chamber community.
An OSAC steering committee will be formed to select co-chairs, to identify OSAC’s strategic direction and goals, and to develop ideas and programs for future OSAC events. The first meeting of the OSAC steering committee was held on Thursday, December 17th, 2009, at 10:00AM. The steering committee meeting was open to all interested Chamber members. This initial steering committee meeting was chaired by U.S. Embassy security attaché Ronnie Catipon, who is an ex-officio member of OSAC.
Although we all recognize that we must be individually responsible for our own security, by sharing ideas and "best practices," we all benefit from a cooperative effort. OSAC is an ideal forum for this joint endeavor.
If you or one of your colleagues would like to participate in the Chamber OSAC Committee Meetings and receive informational updates, please feel free to contact Marta-Maria Denshchykova, Chamber Committee Coordinator.
