The Chamber is pleased to announce that we transform our Business Leaders League meetings into a brand new series of Cross Talks and invited our Members for the launch event: Cross Talk “The Asian Tigers as a Pattern for Ukraine?”, that took place at the ELIZIY Restaurant of TSARSKY City Resort.
On March 17, Chamber WELDI community gathered to get inspired by stories featuring leadership journeys of prominent female CEOs - Ms. Yaryna Klyuchkovska, Managing Director at GROU, and Ms. Svetlana Georbelidze, Director at Visa Ukraine, as well as discuss the most challenging aspects of leadership.
The Chamber invited all members to the Traditional “St. Patrick’s Day” Business Networking Cocktail that took place at the Golden Gate Pub, a place that had seen a good deal of Irish themed events.
The first this spring Business Networking event was designed to help Chamber Members find new business partners and new connections in a friendly and informal atmosphere while enjoying free beer from Carlsberg Ukraine, as well as traditional green beer all night. On February 26 we held a WELDI Upgrade presentation and panel discussion on the Role of Women in Business, Politics and Society. This event gave our participants an opportunity to reflect on women's contribution to all spheres of life, as well as better formulate their own vision and development plan in regards to further career advancement.
On February 12, the business community met with Ms. Natalie Jaresko, Minister of Finance of Ukraine to discuss how to move the reform agenda forward. Meeting was held in the light of results of discussion of the economic reform program between Ukrainian State and the IMF to be supported by an Extended Fund Facility Arrangement.
