2. Presentation “Current Regulations related to Information for Consumers regarding Food Products”, delivered by Arzinger representative;

3. Presentation “EU Requirements to Consumer Information: From Theory to Practice”, delivered by Zhanna Pastovenska, EU Funded Project “Improvement of Food Safety Control System in Ukraine”:

  • EU regulations on consumer information;
  • clarification of the definitions;
  • information on voluntary and obligatory nutrients: calculation and place on packaging;
  • rules of "origin" labelling;
  • rules for legibility of information on labelling;
  • rules for allergen labelling;
  • other horizontal labelling issues (net quantity, indication of the date of freezing, etc.).
