It's always good to be back. American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine jointly with Member Company CPTL Group are happy to resume sessions of B2B platform – Customs Hub. It is a series of workshops that bring together experts in the sphere for an open dialogue and discussion of major trends and best practices in customs sphere, recent changes in customs procedures, and how customs can serve as an all-round partner for business.

Today we are delighted to invite all interested employees of the Chamber Member Companies to discuss topic "What is it like to be a successful customs broker?" during business breakfast on February 21.

The Workshop will be focused on the following:

  • What is the role of a customs broker in supply chain management?
  • What are the categories of interaction of the customs broker?
  • Current criteria for selecting a customs broker
  • Development trends in foreign economic activity and customs brokerage services
  • Tools of the experienced customs broker
  • Practical cases

Vita Miroshnychenko, Head of the company Capital Group (customs brokerage and consulting services in the field of foreign economic activity).

Customs Hub will include 10 free educational sessions. The first semester will cover the following topics:

Thursday, March 21 – About classification of goods according to The Ukrainian Classifier of Goods for Foreign Economic Activity (UKTVED). How to work with documents?

Thursday, April 18 – How to make changes to the completed customs declaration.

Thursday, May 23 – The most common mistakes and problems arising from the misinterpretation and use of Incoterms trade terms. Invited speaker – Nikolay Larin.

Thursday, June 20 – Terms of foreign trade contracts and the procedure for their implementation in order to maximize the protection of the interests of importers and exporters.
